Finding organic grocers in Europe, bio restaurants, cafes and bakeries, getting used to communicating through my shyness and language barriers with farmers, wandering local outdoor markets filled with tables spilling with edible colour grown by producers who may not be certified but still do not use sprays or chemical fertilizers, avoiding packaging, compensating for calories lost from all the walking with organic chocolate
Dearest and unfailingly faithful readers, I have spent the most perfect day in Kotor, a day of bests beating bests, a day when I struggled to find ways to describe the awesome even to myself, a day I gratefully shared with J & L, who I will forever remember for their shit-eating grins, patience, and innate kindness.
I knew it was going to happen. Almost every other travel blogger I grew to love and followed faithfully during my year of planning has at least one post about it.
Those see-as-many-museums-as you-can-possibly-fit-into-2-days passes seem like a good deal at first glance. They are tempting, costing the equivalent of generally 2.5 to 3 entrance fees. I could easily see 3 museums in a couple of days, right? Wrong.
After Paris it was Luxembourg. Why? Because I am mosying my way to Aachen. Why Aachen? Not because of Charlemang, not to see any particular building, nothing to do with an historical event.
